Colonel James Johnson Community Service Fund

The James Johnson Community Service Fund (JCSF) has been established in honor of deceased member Colonel James E. Johnson, USMC (Ret), a decorated Marine Corps fighter pilot who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.

This fund was established as part of an endowment effort to cover the various detachment operational expenses which include: administrative support of scholarship and trust funds, newsletters, Boy Scout-Girl Scout Eagle/Gold awards, Toys for Tots, Special Olympics, VAVS, general veteran affairs issues, NROTC and Distinguished Citizen awards, as well as various other operational expenses incurred in the conduct of the detachment's numerous community service efforts.
